The people of Bacolod are known for their hospitality. My wife, Cecile, was born in Bacolod and a lot of her family are still there. What a wonderful weekend that was!

This photo of Rex Cuenca, Bacolod painter and Masskara maker, came out in December's FHM's Quote Unquote section. Again, wifey Cecile wrote the article.

After almost a year, I've finally found the time to post more shots of 2007's Bacolod Masskara. With great regret, we cannot go to 2008's Masskara so these memories will have to suffice.

I really like the blurred, frenetic energy of Masskara. I enjoin y'all to visit Bacolod next month. At the very least, the Bacolodnons will be very hospitable. For us, it was a wonderful and unforgettable experience
